About NUTROMAXX
NUTROMAXX is a world class 5 strain concentrate (3.25 x 108 pcs. in 1 cm3) microbial soil fertiliser.
Understanding the Benefits
- Nitrogen fixation occurs well in soils where Nutromaxx is applied with moderate doses of N fertilisers have been applied and to a lesser extent given higher doses.
- Phytohormone production: Nutromaxx has IAA production ability. Indole-3-acetic acid (IAA) is an auxin like phytohormone, which promotes germination / increased growth rates of seedlings / root formation & nutrient uptake.
- Phosphate mobilisation increased.
- Potassium mobilisation increased.
- Siderophore production: Iron is present in the soil in limited quantities mainly in an insoluble form. Nutromaxx mobilises sharply iron in soils whilst inhibiting replication of pathogen.
- EPS: Exopolysaccharides - Nutromaxx forms a film that creates a protective capsule surrounding the soil aggregates, bacteria and plant roots to heighten drought resistance.
- Nutromaxx contains plant growth promoting bacteria (PGPR) increasing cellular development.
- Natural mechanisms for defence: NUTROMAXX elevates plant growth and the production of bioflavonoids, carotenoids, tannins and terpenoids to counter fungal and bacterial pathogens. Further to this, high health plants produce organic compounds or “Antifeedants”(4) , which inhibit plant cell attack by insects & promote longevity.
