Avocado

Avocados treated with Reefsaver showed improved Phosphorous availability through the solubilisation of BSES Acid Extractable P to Colwell P in the soil solution over time, from enhanced beneficial microbial activity.

The soil samples from Avocado’s treated with Reefsaver presented improved P uptake, presented by reduced Soluble P in soil after trial period concluded. Despite Acid Extractable P being solubilised in the highest amount, Reefsaver had the lowest increase in Soluble P in soil indicating it was quickly utilised by the trees and not acumulated in the soil.

The soil in Avocado rows treated with Reefsaver presented a lower Exchangeable Sodium Percentage, relating to a positive incluence on the salinity and moisture stress the trees would have suffered during the trial period.

Ramping plant growth whilst mitigating the farmer’s loss from nutrient runoff is reefsaver’s infinite organic advantage.
